Plains Internet is an internet service provider based in Amarillo, Texas. We serve 42 towns across the Texas Panhandle, northwest New Mexico, and a growing list of Texas towns beyond with real fiber and licensed fixed wireless. Most of them are places the national carriers looked at and drove past.
Our network is built for the Panhandle, not retrofitted from city gear. Fiber where we have built it, licensed fixed wireless where fiber has not reached yet, and more fiber going in the ground every year. Some of our builds are backed by federal broadband programs, which means we are audited to prove the service works and committed to these towns for the long haul.
When something breaks, you talk to a person in Amarillo. Our network operations center is local, our field techs are our own employees, and the tech rolling to your house has probably been down your road before. We answer the phone because we live here too.
